5 Refreshing Tea Drinks + Their recipes
1. Strawberry mint ice tea:
Try this yummy strawberry ice tea with a tint of mint. The best part is that it is easy to make.
a. Add the strawberry, mint leaves, and green tea to a pitcher or glass container of choice.
b. Pour hot water into the pitcher and add sweetener (brown sugar/honey)
c. Allow the ingredients to settle for 20 minutes. After, remove the green tea bags/loose leaves.
d. Put the tea mixture in the fridge to chill for 4 - 5 hours.
e. Enjoy your refreshing strawberry mint ice tea!
2. Ginger and lemon tea with honey:
If you are in for a little bit of kick to your drink then this Ginger and lemon tea is what you need.
a. Blend ginger in a food processor.
b. Squeeze out juice from the blended ginger shaft with a muslin cloth.
c. Pour the freshly squeezed ginger juice in a pitcher.
d. Add lemon juice and add green tea.
e. Pour hot water into the pitcher and add honey.
f. Allow the green tea to steep for 10 minutes. After, remove the green tea.
g. Add ice cubes and place the ginger, lemon and honey tea mixture in the fridge to chill for 3 hours.
e. Garnish with mint leaves.

3. Pomegranate raspberry ice tea:
Another fruity ice tea to get you by this hot weather. It is the perfect drink to share with loved ones.
a. Add sugar/honey and raspberries to a pitcher. Stir together.
b. Add black tea bags/loose leaves. Let the tea steep for 4 mins then remove black tea.
c. Add pomegranate juice.
d. Place in the fridge to chill for 4 - 5 hours.
e. Decorate pitcher with lemon wedges. Enjoy your refreshing pomegranate raspberry ice tea!
4. Chilled tiger nut Milk:
A chilled drink common to West African citizens, tiger nut milk is both healthy and delicious.
a. Soak tiger nuts for 15 - 20 hours
b. Dice coconut chunks into small cubes
c. Dice ginger
d. Blend tiger nuts, coconut cubes, diced ginger and dates with 1 cup of warm water in a food processor
e. Pour the blended mix into a strainer. Separate most of the shaft from the milk.
f. Blend the remaining shaft again with warm water
g. Strain the mix from the blender with a muslin cloth to get the milk
h. Pour the tiger nut milk in a pitcher.
i. Place in the fridge to chill for 4 hours.
j. Enjoy your refreshing tiger nut milk!
5. Berry hibiscus:
Love all berries? Then this is the drink for you. Try the berry ice tea with a hibiscus blend.
a. Add all the berries (blackberry, elderberry, raspberry, and cranberry), hibiscus leaves (gather in a stainless tea ball infuser), and green tea to a pitcher or glass container of choice.
b. Pour hot water into the pitcher, add sweetener (brown sugar/honey).
c. Allow the ingredients to settle for 20 minutes. After, remove the green tea bags/loose leaves.
d. Put the tea mixture in the fridge to chill for 4 - 5 hours.
e. Enjoy your refreshing berry hibiscus ice tea!
